What we need…
We need fosters, adoptive homes and donations! Please apply! If we are unable to get foster and adoptive homes lined up, we unfortunately won’t be able to bring these animals back. Doe Eyes property & our current foster homes are FULL of rescues right now.

What we know…
We recently came across a rescue case that we simply could not walk away from. A remote area of Kentucky where animal welfare is non-existent, animals are often left outside in the cold to fend for themselves, are abused, neglected, and sometimes even shot. At this particular location, there was one cat on-site that has been shot in the head with a pellet gun and needs immediate medical attention).
A local woman to this area, who has no resources what so ever, stepped up to take in as many animals as she could and called Doe Eyes in desperate need of help. She doesn’t have funds nor resources, but is helping anyways. She needs help and is humbly asking to ensure these animals get the immediate medical attention and care that they require. Doe eyes made an emergency trip to rescue 8 puppies, 7 adult dogs and 11 cats. We will be back at the end of the month to rescue the 15 chickens and build shelter and fences.
We still need around 12 fosters for the animals we have brought back so far!
Please donate what you can…
- Direct money donation through Venmo, PayPal or Cashapp (please send via friends and family only when using PayPal)
- Chewy or Amazon items from our wishlists
- Secondhand bedding/materials (we can organize a pickup date and location)
*You can note “Kentucky Rescue” to any of the above donation platforms and we will put it directly towards our rescue mission and the supplies we need.*
We have a $5,000 goal, this is going to be one of the largest group rescues Doe Eyes has done in the past year and we need as much help as we can get. Along with rescuing these animals, we will be building proper shelter for this property, based on the area it’s likely people will continue to treat animals inhumanely and their local hero will be there to save them from the cold and predators. Doe Eyes will need to purchase building materials, a large amount of food for dogs, cats, and chickens on-site, medical care for all animals, and transportation to Kentucky. You can still help by donating specifically for this trip
Thank you as always for your support as we save as many animals as possible! Questions? Contact us at doe.eyes.adoptions@gmail.com
